The following announcement is from the National Commissioner for Dizzy Dean Baseball. Please review in detail before purchasing any baseball bats for the 2011 baseball seasons! We will update our website with more information as it is provided to us!
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY DIZZY DEAN NATIONAL COMMISSIONER, Danny Phillips. has banned the use of all composite bats for both local league and tournament play. The complexity of this issue and the uncertainty is the result of this decision. All league officials, parents, and players are encouraged to visit the Dizzy Dean Baseball & Softball web site @ www.dizzydeanbbinc.org for bats that could possibly receive a waiver after scientific data and retesting has been completed. At this time NO bats are listed. This ruling does not include Dizzy Dean Softball.
